FRANKFORT, Ill. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Friday, Dec. 14, at 9701 W. Lincoln Hwy. It marks a third location in the Chicago metro for Freddy’s, which made its area debut in Orland Park earlier this year and opened its second location last month in Homewood.
“The number of positive responses we’ve gotten from guests in the area has been very encouraging,” said Randy Simon, President and CEO. “We’re frequently getting inquiries from those who want to see a Freddy’s nearby, driving us to work hard on our development plans for additional locations. We currently have a fourth Chicago-area location under construction in Lake Zurich that is slated to open in March.”
The 3,142 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 100 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“We enjoy educating first-time Freddy’s guests on the menu and concept,” said Simon. “And then, when they begin to frequent Freddy’s, we go from remembering faces to remembering orders; it’s a personal touch that our guests truly value.”
