MACON, Ga. – Fast-casual restaurant concept, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens in Macon on Tuesday, Oct. 31, at 6239 Zebulon Rd. The opening marks a second site in Middle Georgia for Freddy’s, which made its area debut in Kathleen at 678 Lake Joy Rd. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.

“We made our area debut in Kathleen last year,” said Ray Yarbrough, franchise owner. “That location has gradually become a local go-to for a quick bite to eat, and serves as a great place for friends and family to meet up, relax and enjoy a quality meal together. We felt this was the right time to expand, and we’re looking forward to serving the Macon area.”

The 3,000 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 95 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“Our signature fry sauce is well-known among Freddy’s fans,” said Yarbrough. “It adds a tangy twist to our crispy shoestring fries, though guests enjoy it with all of our side options, burgers and hot dogs. You can also purchase an 18-ounce bottle to take home with you and pair the taste of Freddy’s with some of your favorite homecooked meals.”
