IOWA CITY, Iowa – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Old Capitol Town Center on 201 S. Clinton St. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“At Freddy’s, we strive to provide fast, friendly service and premium quality food in an environment that’s comfortable for all guests,” said Mike Young, franchise owner. “We look forward to be a convenient dining option for guests in the busy downtown Iowa City area looking for a place to eat.”
The 2,900 square-foot restaurant seats 110 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
