Well, our weather has turned unexpectedly cool here, actually been able to turn off the air a bit and just leave the windows open. Talk about a nice way to save on money. One of the fun things about being a blogger and doing reviews, is that I am able to feature great restaurants such as this one here. How many of you have ever visited Freddy’s? If you have never been, then you are sadly missing out on some of the best steakburgers and frozen custard around.
For my visit I was sent a gift card for the family to go eat. We all packed up in the rain, and headed out to get us a good meal, my mouth watering the instant we stepped inside. The aroma of grilling burgers and hot french fries makes for an amazing smell as you come in. Now Freddy’s is a “fast food” restaurant, but their service is impeccable and the food, while a tad bit higher than a regular meal on the go place, is definitely worth paying the extra. And if you try anything, make sure to try their french fry sauce, it is out of this world!
For myself I tried the Chili Cheese Dog combo. Normally I eat their steakburger, but I wanted to taste something different. And let me tell you, the hot dog was fresh and all beef, it didn’t have that terrible flavor some do.
Came out steaming and was great, yes, I even dipped it in the special fry sauce. The little one got a chicken basket kids meal, which she actually ate almost all of. This is not normal for her, but she really loved the sauce and dipped anything and everything in it that she could.
