GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers recently broke ground at 6006 28th St SE near WalMart. The fast-casual restaurant franchise will open early next year, joining the northeast location at 3777 Plainfield Avenue and the west side location at 25 Lake Michigan Drive.

“The feedback we’ve received at our first two locations has been very positive, so we look forward to bringing Freddy’s to guests in the southeast part of the city,” said Joe Reber, franchise owner. “The proximity to I-96 will make us a convenient dining option for those traveling along the interstate as well as for those working and residing in the Cascade area.”

The 3,476 square-foot, free-standing restaurant will seat 102 guests and will have additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Freddy’s is known for its lean ground-beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh several times throughout the day.

“As we continue our growth throughout the Grand Rapids metro, our focus will always remain on quality food and friendly service,” said Reber. “We truly value and appreciate the support of our local FredHead fan base. We strive to provide an exceptional experience every time you choose Freddy’s.”
