PASADENA, Texas – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, recently broke ground at Beltway 8 and Crenshaw in Pasadena on a location slated to open in early 2017. It will be the second Freddy’s for the eastern Houston metro market, following a location that opened earlier this year at Chambers Town Center in Baytown.
“We have seven locations along the western edge of the city, with an eighth currently under construction at 21420 Kuykendahl Rd. in Spring that is currently expected to open later this fall,” said Padden Nelson, franchise owner. “We’re excited to make Freddy’s a more convenient dining option for eastern Houston metro market residents.”
The 3,600 square-foot, freestanding location will seat 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as an assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned several times throughout each day.
“We offer our sincerest thanks to guests of our Houston area restaurants,” said Nelson. “We truly enjoy serving this community. We’re always looking for great sites that are a good fit for our family-friendly restaurant concept, and we hope to continue our area development over the next few years.”
