DRAPER, Utah – Fast-casual restaurant franchise, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, broke ground recently at 1300 Draper Pkwy. in Hidden Valley Shopping Center. Slated to open in late fall, the retro-style restaurant concept’s menu includes lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as an assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.
“We opened a location last July at 5502 W. High Market Dr. in West Valley City, and another in September at 716 West Blue Vista Lane in Midvale,” said Brad Williams, franchise owner. “We’re again expanding farther south and we feel Draper is a great next stop for Freddy’s.”
The 3,309 square-foot, free-standing Freddy’s will seat 100 guests, with additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service will also be available.
“We cook your meal fresh after you order it,” said Williams. “No heat lamps or warming drawers. We’re a fast-casual restaurant, which typically means better food quality and better service than a traditional fast-food place. Our guests appreciate knowing that they can expect this type of dining experience when visiting a Freddy’s.”
