OMAHA, Neb. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opens its newest Omaha location on Thursday, August 25, at 7419 Dodge St., near Crossroads Mall. It is the first Central Omaha site for the Kansas-based chain, but its seventh overall for the Omaha market. Other locations include 180th and Center, 168th and Maple, 72nd and Military, as well as locations in Council Bluffs, Papillion, and Millard.
“Along with the debut of our new location, we’ve made a few menu updates,” said Dave Dreiling, franchise owner. “Fried pickles are now available at all of our area locations as an appetizer or side option, and our guests can order the pickles in place of or in addition to our crispy shoestring fries. And, you’ll definitely want to try dipping the pickles and fries in our new jalapeño fry sauce.”
The 3,550 square-foot, free-standing restaurant seats 112 guests and has seating for 24 on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is freshly churned throughout each day. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
“As we head into autumn, we’ll bring back a few seasonal favorites for a limited time,” said Dreiling. “Be on the lookout for our tasty A.1.® Chophouse Burger, and our popular Pumpkin Pie Concrete that we make with a whole slice of real pumpkin pie, crust and all, blended with our creamy vanilla frozen custard.”
