RAYTOWN, Mo. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers continues to expand in the Kansas City metro area with its newest restaurant opening on Tuesday, May 9, at 10019 Blue Pkwy near Walmart. Menu items include lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as fresh-churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“It’s nice to hear that local Freddy’s fans are just as excited as we are for our growth in the area,” said Randy Simon, CFO and Co-Founder. “Raytown is the second Kansas City-area location we’ve opened this year. We hope to provide a convenient dining option for every day, whether you’re looking to grab a quick bite to eat or want to get together after church with friends and family as a special treat to end the week.”

The 3,476 square-foot, freestanding location seats 110 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Wichita-based restaurant concept recently opened its third Northland location in the Edgewood Farms development, and plans to continue its Kansas City metro market expansion. Freddy’s is expecting to open a site near The Legends on Parallel Parkway later this year, with construction scheduled to commence next month.
