SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, opens its second area restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 3757 S. Glenstone, in James River Towne Center. The fast-casual restaurant franchise serves lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard freshly churned throughout each day.
“The James River Freeway and S. Glenstone Avenue area is a prime retail corridor with several popular, family-friendly points of interest; it’s a great fit for our restaurant concept,” said Joe Rheem, Director of Real Estate Development for 3Pointe Restaurant Group. “We’ll now be a more convenient dining option for residents traveling down the South Glenstone corridor.”
The 3,350 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats close to 100 guests, and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Rheem says a third location is under construction at 2305 N. Glenstone, and is slated to open later this winter.
“Residents of northern Springfield will no longer need to travel to the other side of the city for Freddy’s,” said Rheem. “Our development team is hard at work on this location and we hope to open in just a few months.”
